So... "Draft in Progress"?

Hi dear reader, and welcome to Draft In Progress, a blog about Learning, Critical Thinking, Curiosity, sometimes Personal Finance, Reading, and everything else.

I'm Mr G (no, I'm not that full of myself, but it was a nickname that my university's colleague gave me back in the day), a 32 years old good-for-nothing from Italy, and I prefer to stay anonymous.

I started this Blog in 2022 (or 2024, but it's a long story) to improve my English by talking about whatever I want. I'm always trying to broaden the topic of my writing along the journey.

There is only one person responsible for this blog and for my growing interest in blogs/blogging during these past years, and that person is Mr. Rip. And for this reason, I named this blog in a way that could recall his blog Retire in Progress (long live Mr Rip).

I don't have too much more to say, hopefully you will find something interesting :)

Two months out, and the air is finally clear

Making It Harder Than It Needs to Be

Things aren’t going well for me right now. Work is struggling, I don’t feel fulfilled, and I’m finding it hard to cope with even the smallest tasks. I’m making silly mistakes, my concentration is gone, and the quality of my work has hit a real low. I don't know what I want. I don’t know what my purpose is. I’ve tried different things, made various attempts to change course, yet I always seem to end up back at square one. The only difference is that now I have less time, less energy, fewer resources, and a longer list of failures behind me. My head was exploding thinking about all of this, feeling the pressure to find a way out, a solution, at all costs. I had to get out.
