It's just another bad day
When you live a bad day the most critical moment is the awareness of the normality of these feelings and their acceptance. Personally, I risk getting stuck in a loop of resistance, which drains all my mental energy and ruins the day. The second moment is that of proactivity, which I still approach with a bit too much judgment. However, I generally try to tackle it with a simple to-do list, keeping tasks as straightforward as possible (depending on how bad the day is), which helps me maintain some direction and prevent the day from derailing.
Nowadays it almost seems like we can't be satisfied unless we're constantly struggling. This masochism of toxic productivity/personal growth aims only to keep us in a state of psychological subjugation because no one is meant to be uncomfortable all the time. There is a time to push ourselves to do things outside our comfort zone because that's how we grow and expand it. And there's a time to return to our "safe home" to recharge a bit and take care of ourselves.
The important thing is to listen to ourselves and understand what we need. It's almost an exercise of balancing our current "internal" priorities with the "external" ones, like work-related tasks.
P.s. Writing everything down on paper—your emotions, thoughts, and things to do—helps a lot.
Seeeeee ya!
